The Jars Plume soup plate shows off the several overglazes applied in dilute form around the inside of it. Trace the journey of the glaze down the gently sloping sides and into the heart of the plate. Multiple layers of glaze in delicate shades of blue, grey, or white pool at the bottom for a speckled or blooming effect. The scalloped edges complement the fluidity of the glaze. The underside is simply glazed in a matte ivory.
